ADRENALINE is a hormone and neurotransmitter used to treat allergic reactions, to restore cardiac rhythm, and to control mucosal congestion, glaucoma, and asthma. Adrenaline is used for emergency treatment of allergic reaction (type I) including anaphylaxis to stinging insects and other allergens, as well as idiopathic anaphylaxis or exercise-induced anaphylaxis. it is also used for immediate administration as emergency supportive therapy only.
